Booking & Refund Policy

Full payment is required immediately when booking. Your appointment is confirmed only after the full payment has been verified. An unpaid checkout holds a slot temporarily for up to 15 minutes, then releases it if payment has not been completed.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice before the appointment starts to cancel or rearrange. One cancellation followed by one replacement appointment is permitted per paid booking; your existing payment transfers to that replacement.

Exception for appointments booked for the same day: you may cancel before the appointment starts and rebook once without a cancellation charge. The replacement must be on or after the following working day, subject to availability, and cannot be on the day you cancel. Working days follow Ask Astara's published appointment availability.

If you cancel and cannot choose a replacement date, you may request a refund instead of a credit. Ask Astara will arrange the refund promptly on receiving your request; PayPal and your bank determine when the money reaches your account.

If Astara decides not to carry out your service, a full refund will be issued immediately. If Astara is unable to deliver your service due to unexpected events, a full refund will also be issued immediately. No client cancellation charge applies in either case. Issued immediately means the refund is initiated without delay through the original payment method; PayPal and your bank determine when the money reaches your account.

After your one permitted cancellation/rebooking has been used, a further cancellation carries a contractual charge equal to 100% of the amount paid for the service. Cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice outside the same-day-booking exception, or failure to attend, also carries a charge up to that amount. This is retention of the existing payment, not an additional automatic charge. All charges are subject to applicable consumer law, statutory refund rights and any required reduction to reflect actual loss or costs saved.

Please arrive on time. If you are late, your session may use only the minutes remaining before its original booked end time; it will not be extended. If the appointment can no longer take place, it may be forfeited without a contractual refund, subject to your statutory rights.

To cancel, request your one rebooking, or ask for a refund, use Manage appointment on this website, email Askastara@aol.co.uk or call 07552 582 065, giving your name and appointment date and time. The time your request is received is used to assess notice. Online requests appear privately in Ask Astara's diary; Astara checks your identity and confirms the change. Submitting a request does not automatically change an appointment or send a refund. No PayPal dispute is required to request a direct refund.

These contractual rules do not remove statutory cancellation rights or remedies. Booking a same-day appointment or ticking an acceptance box does not, by itself, make a payment non-refundable. Separate early-service consent is required where applicable.

These services are based on personal spiritual beliefs, interpretations and subjective experiences.

No guarantee is made regarding the accuracy of information, predictions, spiritual communications or particular outcomes.

Nothing within these terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, you may cancel within 14 days after the day the service contract is entered into. Booking a future appointment does not, by itself, remove that right.

A service will not begin during that period without your express request. The statutory cancellation right is lost on full performance during that period only where you have made that request and acknowledged the loss of the right.

If you cancel during that period after requesting an early start but before full completion, any charge must be proportionate to the service supplied up to cancellation, based on the agreed total price (or market value if that price is excessive), and meet the applicable legal requirements. Any remaining payment is refundable as required by law.

Advance payments are not automatically non-refundable before a session takes place. Any cancellation charge must comply with applicable consumer law, and all statutory remedies remain available.

Your booking agreement is evidence of your acceptance; it does not prevent you from raising a PayPal dispute or exercising your legal rights.

All psychic, mediumship and tarot consultations are provided for entertainment purposes only. Predictions, interpretations and spiritual experiences are subjective, and specific results cannot be guaranteed.

Dissatisfaction solely because a particular prediction has not occurred does not automatically establish entitlement to a refund.

This does not affect statutory cancellation rights or remedies where services have not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
